acteon:  17 year old Greek boy, hunter, sees goddess Diana bathing naked in the woods.  she catches him looking, flicks water at him, he sprouts horn, turns into a stag, and is chased down and killed by his own dogs.  moral isn't "Don't Look" bur rather to not look with the wrong kind of eyes at the female divine.
